Rose Journal

Our May Bootcamp theme was to create a journal cover with a rose theme and a quote. I decided to go with a woodlands theme and included a deer amongst my flowers and gave the cover a dark background.

I drew the roses firstly on paper and then embellished them into a digital form. I included butterflies, birds and beetles. I chose a single word 'bloom' and tried to give it the look of being embossed in gold. 

I really enjoyed creating this design.
